Field Study Journal II

Date and time: 9/23/18 4:10-5:05

Present Climate: Fall chill in the air yet not cold due to sun shine. Though I expect the temperature to drop after sunset.

Temperature: The temperature was between 71 and 51 degrees Fahrenheit.

Length of Day: 12 hours and 55 minutes.

Sound: Sounds I heard included: wind rustling the leaves, squirrels and chipmunks in the trees and on the ground, birds chirping, water gurgling, nuts falling, and crickets chirping.

General Notes:
-There were way less mosquitos than last time, I believe this was due to the cooler climate.
-The brown mold fungus stuff from last time was no longer there I’m not sure if that is due to some other organism or if it’s because of the cold climate.
-The cold climate does not seem to have affected the mushroom population.

Note, these observations are based off of memories and photographic evidence from the last journal.
